Sand Beach Church, which was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1975, closed in 1997 after 200 years of serving the faithful in central Cayuga County. It has been sitting idle since.

Now, Springside Inn owner Sean Lattimore wants to bring the old church back to life. He wants to make the site part of the Springside complex, serving food and beverages and even keeping a part as a small chapel for weddings.
