Tuscola's past brought back to life during sesquicentennial celebration.

Jul. 8--TUSCOLA -- The "shades" of seven people departed from this life haunted the Tuscola Township Cemetery on Saturday to talk about their lives during a cemetery walk that was part of the community's 150th anniversary celebration.

Sixty people showed up at 11 a.m. Saturday for a cemetery tour guided by sisters Kathy Sapp and Kim Higgins. They came up with the idea for the event and recruited relatives and community theater members to play the roles of departed citizens.
