One argument by proponents of the Apollo-hoax theory is the lack of stars in photographs from the lunar surface. While the sunlit surface is much too bright to yield properly exposed images showing stars in visible-light photographs, stars are easily visible in images taken using the ultraviolet camera carried to the Moon by Apollo 16.
