Parents and students in the Rosemount-Apple Valley-Eagan school district might want to go ahead and start planning their 2007-08 school-year vacations.
Seem early? After all, July 4th hasn't even rolled around yet.
But this fall, kids will be out of school the entire third week of October. That's because, after surveying parents and teachers, district officials discovered many of the 2,000 respondents didn't like having days off for teacher training and parent-teacher conferences sprinkled throughout the fall. ...
