Spar is 'so far ahead.' (dispute between Spar and Londis over practices of Spar)

The managing director of Spar, Garry Craft, has refuted claims by the chief executive of Londis, Graham White on payments by stores, and membership. Londis claims its member stores pay less than Spar retailers, while Craft argues that the turnover of its member stores is larger, which explains why they pay more. The average paid by Spar members is 30 pounds sterling weekly and they receive a number of services such as scanning for this. Craft argues that multiples are not the enemy, rather other types of stores like those in gasoline stations pose the biggest threat.
