"You know why you can't go home, right?"
Abby Ostlie hasn't yet turned 4, but she knows why.
"I need my new heart."
But Abby, a precocious girl with silky brown hair who loves Snow White and the color turquoise, asks to go home anyway. Explaining why she has to stay hooked up to the IV bags next to her hospital bed is a duty that "pretty much breaks your heart every day," said her mom, Heather.
