Jun. 20--Indiana's latest unemployment rate for the month of May is at its lowest since September 2001.

The seasonally adjusted unemployment rate in May of 4.5 percent is now the same as the national unemployment rate, according to the monthly employment report released Tuesday by the Indiana Department of Workforce Development.
