IF you're after a peaceful city break, forget Marrakesh.

But if you like the unexpected, fancy a bit of desert heat and don't mind getting lost, the Rose City makes for a memorable holiday.

It's surprisingly easy to do as a short break.

Just a four-hour flight and no time difference between Birmingham and Marrakesh make the journey a doddle.

And it's best to get there soon. Plans to double the number of tourists to Morocco to 10 million by the year 2010 are quickly changing the city.
