MICHAEL Barrymore was arrested on suspicion of the murder of a man found dead in his swimming pool only days after police seized secret tapes of interviews with the disgraced entertainer, it emerged last night.

Barrymore, 55, has always claimed that butcher Stuart Lubbock, 31, drowned during a drug-fuelled party in 2001, but suspicion has always hung over him after pathologists found evidence Mr Lubbock had been raped and asphyxiated.
