THE Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra last night came out in support of the Liverpool Culture Company and insisted its help had created opportunities for local musicians.
Michael Elliott, chief executive at Royal Liverpool Philharmonic said: "I read with regret of the news of Cllr Anderson's resignation from the 08 Board at a time when so many in the city are preparing themselves to deliver a top-class programme in 2008, whose richness, diversity and scale has so far gained the universal acclaim of local, regional and national partners.
