The European Commission intends to remind member states of their obligations towards posted workers within the framework of providing services. In a communication which it intends to adopt on 13 June, following a detailed summary of the measures implemented in member states and a reminder of past case law, the Commission intends to move up a gear with vague threats of sanctions against recalcitrant member states.
