THE aftermath of December's helicopter crash in North Korea should give pause to optimists who thought relations between Washington and Pyongyang were warming up. The U.S. helicopter was shot down on December 17 after it accidentally strayed into North Korean air space, and the surviving pilot was not released until nearly two weeks later.
