As I take a sip of bourbon at a recent tasting, I find new meaning in the phrase "feel the burn."

Ever on top of the trends, I'm at a luncheon at the Capital Grille in Larimer Square to sip the Small Batch Bourbon Collection from Jim Beam and to taste dishes cooked with the bourbon.

Like coffee and chocolates, bourbon is no longer just bourbon. It's part of a growing niche market for specialty items within a food category produced in limited quantities with distinctive flavors. You're talking my ...
