It may come as a surprise to find among the latter Peter Levi, the author of a new biography of the man who gave the world, among other undying literary creations, "The Yonghy-Bonghy-Bo", "The Owl and the Pussycat" and "The Jumblies" (see Lear's drawing alongside).
