May 28--MECCA FARMS -- Palm Beach County's $60 million mistake -- could soon re-emerge as the focal point in the fight over western development.

County commissioners' recent rejection of a 10,000-home plan for Callery-Judge Grove coupled with their agreement to revive western development guidelines gives a new direction for what could be built on county-owned Mecca Farms, County Administrator Bob Weisman said.
