Introduction

Many factors influence the successful implementation and use of water-borne ink systems in the printing process. External factors such as shipping and storage, freezing and thawing both before and after the process, are controllable to some degree. The physical properties of the handling and press systems to a great degree are not controllable. The effect of the seasons, summer versus winter for example, are not controllable.
