GF to build new plant in China.(Around the World)

Georg Fischer (GF), Uzwil, Switzerland, announced plans to build a new metalcasting facility in Kunshan, China, according to a recent press release.

The new iron plant will begin operation in the spring of 2009 and will supply the local and global automotive industry with safety components. A statement by the company said that the iron facility would complement their existing presence in the light metals automotive market.
