Dog Racing: APGAW ARGUES FOR CHANGE.(Sports)
|
BELOW are extracts from elements of The Associate Parliamentary Group for Animal Welfare (APGAW) investigation of greyhound racing. It prominently quotes Cheryl Miller, the trainer and welfare carer stating: "In the last year or so welfare has had such a high priority which is marvellous. We have this wonderful window of opportunity now to get things right."
It should be noted that the full report (cover pictured) runs to more than 20,000 words, and these extracts involve fewer than ten per cent of that. The full detail can be viewed on the APGAW website: apgaw.org
