RECENTLY, some people asked me about the Holy Spirit. "What does the Holy Spirit mean to you?", they said. "In what ways does the Holy Spirit work in people's lives? What evidence is there of the Holy Spirit?"

So people are interested in finding out about the Holy Spirit, all the more so, I think, because of the element of mystery. In Christianity the Holy Spirit is important. But, what about the Holy Spirit in our everyday lives?
