May 18--After entering Thailand just over a year ago, the German luxury real-estate brokerage Engel & Volkers is ready to expand with the opening of a new office in Hua Hin.

The company opened its first office in Phuket in late 2005. Martin Phillips, the holder of a master franchise licence for Southeast Asia and Australia, said more licences would be awarded to selected partners for offices in Bangkok by the third quarter of this year.

Other offices in the region are likely to open in Singapore and Malaysia next year, while its regional ...
