Bonifacio won't seek fourth Council term: BUFFALO.

May 15--Niagara District Council Member Dominic J. Bonifacio Monday announced he won't be seeking a fourth term.

Surrounded by supporters and well-wishers in the backyard of his Normal Avenue home, the Buffalo lawmaker also introduced the man he is endorsing to succeed him, Peter Savage III, an assistant corporation counsel for the city who formerly was a legislative aide in Bonifacio's office.

"I think he brings a lot of qualities [to the job]," Bonifacio said of Savage.
