Immigrant advocates, clergy, union leaders, contractors, and families of victims held a vigil at St. Francis of Assisi Chapel on April 12 in honor of the unprecedented number of construction workers killed in New York City over the last year.

Organized by Father Brian Jordan, an immigration counselor and labor priest, the vigil brought together victims and their families, who are largely from the city's immigrant population.
