Entrepreneur magazine was started as a newsletter in 1973 and has grown to a 385,000-circulation business periodical in 1994. Approximately 78% of its $35 million in revenues come from magazine subscriptions and the other 22% comes from additional operations. These additional operations include the American Entrepreneurs Assn, book publishing, international editions, Business Start-Ups magazine, a Compuserve forum and regional trade exhibitions.
