WALES: Friends step in to restore church.(News)

A REDUNDANT medieval church saved from demolition 13 years ago is being restored to its former glory after being "adopted".
The Friends of Friendless Churches stepped in to give Anglesey's Llanfigael Church a new lease of life.
The London-based society took the 1,000-year-old church "into its care".
And supporters struck a deal with the Church in Wales and CADW, the organisation responsible for the upkeep of ancient monuments, to pay for its restoration which could cost pounds 70,000.
