A new laptop system brings high-performance ultrasound to areas with constricted space such as the neonatal intensive care unit, according to the system's manufacturers.

The LOGIQ i compact ultrasound system from GE Healthcare is a 10-pound system with volume imaging. The portability allows clinicians to use ultrasound at the point of patient care, including the intensive care unit or between incubators in the neonatal intensive care unit.
