SEOUL, May 6 (Yonhap) -- South Korea is determined to prevent an international body from identifying the waters between the Korean Peninsula and Japan as "Sea of Japan" in its new maps that will be published soon, ahead of the opening of the organization's general assembly Monday. "We will not tolerate the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) continuing to use 'Sea of Japan' alone for the East Sea," a Foreign Ministry official said Sunday.
