In "Freedom Bound" in the February/ March 2007 edition, Lawrence Hill relates the tale of the Book of Negroes from 1783, which is part of an epic story of a courageous and loyal population of which all Canadians should be aware and proud. It is a sad fact that this part of Canadian and British history has been largely ignored for far too long. Thank you for bringing it to your readers' attention.
