Noel Pointer, jazz violinist, recently died in New York of a massive stroke at age 39.
Pointer, who was nominated for a Grammy in 1981 for Best R&B Instrumental Track, made his solo debut as a classical violinist at the young age of 13 years old with the world renowned Symphony of the New World Orchestra.
