Lena Horne is a living legend who continues to capture the public's imagination.
JET has received a series of calls from fans of the legendary lady wondering how she's doing these days.
JET contacted her daughter, Gail Buckley, who revealed: "She's 100 percent retired and that's why she doesn't do any interviews or make any public appearances."
Her last major public appearance was in 1999 at an all-star salute in her honor at New York's Avery Fisher Hall when she was 82. (JET, Nov. 22, 1999).
