ALICE Gardner was one of Liverpool's biggest fans - so much so one day in 1981 she went out for a loaf of bread and ended up in Paris watching her team win the European Cup Final.
That type of hilarious stunt was just typical of Alice, for she was made up of Liverpool FC and laughter.
Educated at St Anthony's Church School, in Scotland Road, Alice grew up as the youngest of four children to Molly and Eddie. She was born Mary Alice but went by her middle name. ...
