Mercer Island, Renton to share costs of noise study.

Apr. 20--The city councils of Renton and Mercer Island have agreed to share the cost of a noise study to determine the impact a proposed executive-jet center at Renton Municipal Airport would have on neighborhoods in both communities.

The agreement also states that Renton will not make any decisions regarding the potential development until the impacts on neighborhoods have been determined and residents are consulted about them.
