Apr. 19--A Wernersville man blamed his drug addiction for leading to his stealing $2,200 in robberies at three banks in May. "I want to apologize to the tellers and the community of Berks County," Thomas A. Harding said before Judge Linda K.M. Ludgate sentenced him Tuesday to 24 to 60 years in state prison. "I was using drugs since I was little," he said. "Then, I was in sports in high school, but for some reason when I got to college I was drawn to drugs."
