Apr. 19--Mention the phrase "chamber music" and it's easy to imagine a group of musicians performing stuffy classical pieces. The Quartet San Francisco aims to change that perspective by mixing chamber music with modern music and techniques. The group comes to the First Methodist Church of Yuba City at 7:30 p.m. Friday as part of the Tri-Counties Concert Association's season.
