Centaur to argue harness-racing appeal before Pennsylvania Supreme Court.

Apr. 17--SOUTH BEAVER TWP. -- Centaur Inc.'s long, winding trip to get a harness-track license for Valley View Downs in South Beaver Township will take yet another legal turn Tuesday when the company argues its case before the state Supreme Court in Philadelphia.
The hearing will come nearly three months after the court agreed on Jan. 19 to hear arguments from the Indiana-based Centaur, which is appealing a state Harness Racing Commission decision that rejected its application in November 2005 citing concerns it had with the track's ...
