Japan's Masazumi Soejima said he came to Boston hoping to meet his countryman, Daisuke Matsuzaka. Then, he went ahead and trumped the Red Sox pitcher's Hub debut. Hitting the Boston Marathon course for the first time, Soejima posted a time of 1:29:16, besting the rest of the men's wheelchair field by more than seven minutes and unseating six-time defending champion Ernst Van Dyk.

So now, it may be Matsuzaka wantin...
