Tips for selecting and using products for Mac-based faxing are presented. Most modems today include fax capabilities, and good fax software makes faxing as easy as printing. The user creates a document, issues the fax command and instructs the software where to send the fax. The software bundled with many fax modems is inadequate, but Delrina Corp's $129 FaxPro for Macintosh and other stand-alone fax programs add capabilities such as anti-aliasing and the ability to transmit gray shades.
