HALICARNASSUS stated his case for the Craven Stakes with a pleasing workout on the summer ground at West Ilsley yesterday morning.

Mick Channon worked the Cape Cross colt, winner of last season's Group 2 Superlative Stakes, in a four-horse group over seven furlongs led by the five-year-old Rocamadour.
