Apr. 8--JEROME -- Noon on a school day, and at the Jerome library, a dozen elementary school-aged children are dyeing eggs, cutting rabbit shapes out of paper bags and chatting with each other. Why aren't they in school? They are. These students are members of the Idaho Virtual Academy, a group of home school families that use group activities and teacher guidance as well as parent involvement to educate students from kindergarten to 12th grade.
