HOUSTON -- Hanover Compressor Company (NYSE: HC) (Hanover) and Universal Compression Holdings, Inc. (NYSE: UCO) (Universal) jointly announced today that they have received a request for additional information from the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) regarding the proposed merger between the companies. The information request was issued under notification requirements of the Hart-Scott-Rodino Antitrust Improvements Act of 1976, as amended.
