FITCHBURG - When the collectible card game "Magic: The Gathering" came out in 1993, Michelle Cove refused to play.
Miss Cove was working at Ayer Comics and watched people get so caught up with the game that they stopped paying attention to their wives and kids.
But eventually, the game worked its magic on her, and today Miss Cove travels the world selling Magic cards at tournaments, having spent 42 weekends traveling last year, she said.
In two weeks, she will be in Japan, and a month ago she was in Geneva, she said.
