WHILE drivers of 4x4s are slagged off by eco-warriors, it's still OK to drive a Land Rover Defender.
The Defender is different. It's British and Joy Adamson drove one in Born Free. It's almost our birthright to drive one.
This is a comforting thought for a Land Rover fan like me, but what makes me cross is the amount of rubbish talked about 4x4s.
Not every 4x4 chucks out more emissions than a Caribbean cruise line...
