UTV plans Olive TV to bring world cinema closer to you.

Mar. 28--MUMBAI, India -- After wooing kids with Hungama, the teens with Bindaas, UTV is now out to woo the serious cinema buff with the launch of Olive TV, a world cinema channel.

Olive TV, part of UTV's newly announced business vertical, has brought under one roof 1,000 film titles from 20 countries that have won over 3,000 (cumulative) awards that include the likes of BAFTA, Cannes, Pusan, Berlin, Venice, Toronto amongst others under the brand name of Olive Collection. The objective is to bring the best of world cinema to India.
