Mar. 27--A mysterious disorder killing bees in colonies across the country may not have stung local beekeepers as hard.
Tim Miller has checked the 40 hives that he and his wife, Kelly, have on their Sporting Hill property in Rapho Township, and this week is inspecting about 150 others in Florida.
"The hives are looking very good," he said. "I'm hoping they dodged a bullet."
