Mar. 23--CANON CITY -- A journey back to the Old West, featuring cowboy hats, acoustic music and humorous sagas, will highlight the Canon Rose Acoustic Society concert starting at 7 p.m. Saturday. The Yampa Valley Boys -- Steve Jones and John Fisher of Steamboat Springs -- will headline the event. The show is formatted like a fun and fast-paced old-time radio show that focuses on the cowboy way of life. Fisher plays banjo and mandolin, while Jones plays acoustic guitar.
