Veikko"Vic" Tiihonen played his last round of golf about five or six years ago when he was in his late 80s. His swing was still silky smooth, and he probably carded a few pars, maybe even a birdie.
Vic, the golfer. He was much more though - a high school track star, a city league basketball coach, loyal Heywood Wakefield employee and social club planner, a devoted husband to his wife, Annette, for 60 years.
