SPOKANE - Like almost every kid in New Zealand, Craig Bradshaw grew up playing rugby.
But by the time he was 14 years old, Bradshaw went through a growth spurt that turned his interest toward basketball.
"Everyone plays rugby," Bradshaw said. "I was at the stage where I was getting too tall and too skinny. I was just getting hurt too often. So basically, I had to choose my junior year of high school between the two, and basketball just seemed the right option for me."
