FORMER Coventry and Warwickshire cricketer Alan Gordon has died at the age of 62.

The one-time prolific batsman with the Coventry & North Warwickshire club in Binley Road, Coventry, went on to sign professional forms for Warwickshire at Edgbaston.

During his first-class career with Warwickshire, he played in 34 matches, scoring a total of 891 runs at an average of 16.20.
