Minnesota grocers believe you ought to be able to purchase a bottle of wine to go with dinner when you visit one of their stores. We agree, but the bill they are pushing at the Legislature to make that possible is flawed. Wine in grocery stores is not the place to begin and certainly not the place to end discussion about overhauling Minnesota's antiquated liquor regulations.
