The Gulf Crisis was responsible for the decline of Jordan's economy. The caused Gulf states to displace hundreds of Jordanian and Palestinian workers. The income levels of Jordanian and Palestinians who were employed before the war dropped by 5,000 to 10,000 Jordanian Dinar. The displacement caused huge personal and property losses which ranged from 10,000 to 25,000 Jordanian Dinar.
