In covering the Oasis hit "Wonderwall" for the compilation album "Punk Goes '90s," the band Cartel was making a subtle point.

"I'm the youngest member of the band at 22, but we are old souls," said Cartel's Will Pugh. "We're not like Sum 41 or Simple Plan. The bands we admire and want to be like are Pearl Jam or Oasis."
